Kate Gierke is a professional dancer, teacher, and choreographer in Tampa and St Pete. She began her professional career with Atlas Modern Ballet under the direction of Sarah Walston. Kate is also a competitive ballroom dancer with Fred Astaire Dance Studios, and she has trained & performed in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Paris. Kate attended the University of South Florida on Talent and Academic Scholarships, graduating with a BFA in Modern Dance Performance.

Her passion for choreography grew at USF where she presented 5 original pieces. For choreographic inspiration, Kate is constantly exploring this beautiful world, through other forms of movement including rollerblading, running, and skydiving.
