SARAH FONTANA
A Tampa, Florida native, Sarah began dancing at the age of 4. She studied classical ballet, modern, jazz, and musical theater at Jansen Dance Project. Yet, her first love has always been ballet. This lead her to America’s Ballet School, where she began studying under the direction of Paula Nuñez and Osmany Montano in 2014.
She has participated in numerous workshops and master classes with ABS, Ballet Magnificat, and Alonzo King Lines, as well as outreach performances in the Tampa Bay area. Sarah has performed in several classical ballets including The Nutcracker, Coppelia, Cinderella, Napoli, and Alice in Wonderland. Her repertoire also includes contemporary works choreographed by Paula Nuñez including Outflow, It’s Happening Anyways, and Frida.
Sarah placed in the Top 12 Senior Classical Division at the Youth America Grand Prix in the 2018 Tampa Semi Finals. Sarah’s energy, passion, and extreme dedication for the art combine to effortlessly communicate her immense joy from the stage. It is her desire to share this love of dance with others in the community.
