Amber Rose began her dance training at Ballet Russe School under the direction of Valerie Barsky where she studied ballet as well as flamenco. She spent her summers training at the Joffrey Academy of Dance, Official School of the Joffrey Ballet, where she worked with Alexei Kremnev, Anna Reznik, Charthel Arthur and various others.

Amber attended the dance program at Butler University on a scholarship and graduated with a B.F.A. in Dance Performance. Here she trained with Susan McGuire, Derek Reid, Patrick Hinson, Stephan Laurent, Marek Cholewa, Cynthia Pratt and Michelle Jarvis.

She performed in Streamlines, a project supported by the National Science Foundation and has worked with guest choreographer Leslie Telford. She also had the opportunity to tour through Europe, training and performing contemporary works. In addition to dancing, she is a Peak Pilates® certified instructor and has recently obtained a B.A. in psychology from the University of South Florida. Amber joined Tampa City Ballet in August 2023.
