Humberto, originally from Havana, Cuba, began his ballet training at the age of 10 at the National School of Ballet of Cuba. In 2014, he joined the National Ballet of Cuba, under the artistic direction of Alicia Alonso. Upon moving to Miami, Florida in 2015, he studied at the Art of Classical Ballet under the direction of Magaly Suarez. In 2016, Humberto accepted a contract with Kansas City Ballet as a company member where he spent six years. During his time with KCB he performed many featured and leading roles. In August 2022, he accepted a contract with Indianapolis Ballet as Principal. He joined Tampa City Ballet in August 2023.
